In KCS classes and camps there is no pressure, the environment is informal and positive. We aim to create an environment that is not competitive but inspiring and builds children's self confidence.
Drama can benefit any child, teaching them wonderful skills that they can carry through life and put to use in many areas. Drama instills creativity and self expression as well as nourishing the imagination. Drama teaches children to think on their feet and helps them to both stand out from the crowd and to work with a group.
Perhaps the most important skills it brings is increased level of self confidence, plus the opportunity to make friends outside their usual circuit.
Classes and Camps
Elementary School Musical
Spring Session
at Williams Elementary School
January 22nd - April 16th
This show celebrates elementary school!! Full of song, dance and skits - this play will remind the audience why elementary school rules!
Classes are for K - 5th grade boys and girls. Students will stay afterschool and be dismissed to Mrs. LaBranche's classroom at 3:25. Students may bring a snack and should wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for dancing. On April. 16th families will join us in the cafeteria at 6:30 pm to watch our end of session performance on stage!
12 WEEK SESSION $230.00 - Due by January 16th. Parents are responsible for one costume for the end of session performance.
Receipts, schedules and costume information will be emailed.
Beach Party Musical
Summer Camp
at Mill Creek Baptist Church
June 8, 2026 - June 12, 2026
There is nothing better than spending your summer at the beach! In this show kids will sing, dance, act in skits and even choreograph some of their own dances! Whether you are a swimmer, a surfer or a lifeguard you will have a good time at our beach party!
Camp hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and students must provide their own lunches. Friday camp will be extended until 6:00 pm and we will provide a pre- performance pizza dinner for all campers! At 6:00 pm families will join us in the church sanctuary to watch our end of camp performance on stage!
King Midas and the Golden Touch
Summer Camp
at Mill Creek Baptist Church
June 15, 2026 - June 19, 2026
In this show the familiar story of King Midas is told but the musical performances are anything but traditional! The music in this version of King Midas will get kids moving! Popular songs they know and love are woven meaningfully into the tale. This musical has students sing, dance, speak and act in various skits.
